In true Aggie style I was able to create my own lunch yesterday at the Salad Bowl Garden right on campus – for free!

Last spring I heard about their harvest celebration before they were to start planting for summer. I wanted everyone to know about it and contacted Margaret Lloyd who founded the garden to see if she would do me the honor of being my first interview for AggieTV.

Check it out – it’s right across Freeborn near the MU bus station. There’s still a bunch of basil, sage, tomatoes to be picked before they clear it out for fall planting! To stay updated for when they have plantings and salad bowl lunches contact saladbowlgardeners@googlegroups.com
I had no idea this existed on campus! Very interesting.
Hooray! I love spreading the word – lemme know how you like it!
